About the Journal

Agro-Economist is an International, referred research journal published twice a year by SAESS and Printed by RPublishers in New Delhi, India. It publishes the research articles and case studies in the field of agricultural economics and broadly covers all fields of agricultural sciences with Economic aspect attached to them. Papers must be based on theoretical/empirical research, practical experience/success stories and comparative economic analysis of existing and new technologies, schemes and methodology, etc. in the field of agriculture. 

Agro Economist is now included in NAAS: 3.18

IMPORTANT NOTE: 
 
All the authors are requested to check the originality of their articles before submitting it to AE. In case, any article is found to be Duplicate submission, fabricated data, cut and paste (Plagiarized), at ANY STAGE of processing of your article, the following actions will be taken:
 
Rejection of the article
 
If the conduct is found to be grossly unacceptable i.e. submission of duplicate articles, the author will be blacklisted in Agro Economist and other RP Journals 
 
Letter of conduct will be posted to the Head/Director of the department from where the study was conducted.
 
List of blacklisted authors will be shared amongst the Chief Editors of other Indian Journals

 

Aim and Scope

Agro-Economist is an international, referred journal which aims at providing an outlook to the economic feasibility of academic, research and extension activities in the field of agricultural and allied sciences.  It also covers the broad aspects of general economics which directly or indirectly affects the agricultural sector. The main objective of the journal is to provide understandings to all those who are involved in agricultural sector about the economics of new research advancements and technologies in the field of agriculture. It publishes research articles, project reports, case studies including success stories and review articles that can reveal the process of improvement in agricultural economy of the stakeholders. It is an interdisciplinary journal which includes research topics under following broad headings:

About the Association(AAEBM)

The Association for Agricultural Economics and Agri-business Management is a Non Profit international society of agricultural economists including researchers, teachers, agricultural extension officers, post-graduate students, media persons etc. for highlighting issues related to economics of agriculture and allied sectors. The society is dedicated to uplift and review the theory and application of principles of economics in agriculture and agri-business management. The aim of the society is to promote research in various themes such as Agricultural Production Economics and Farm Management, Macro and Micro Economics, Agricultural Marketing and Supply Chain Management, Entrepreneurship and Small business management, Natural Resource and Environmental Economics, Agricultural Finance, Cooperation and Project Management, Economics of Agricultural Mechanization, Economics of Diseases and Pest Management
