Abstract:

Information and Communication Technology (ICT) has become an undeniable force shaping various
aspects of our lives, including education. This paper delves into the burgeoning potential of ICT within
the context of early childhood education. Recognizing the critical role of the formative years in fostering
a child’s overall development, the study explores the multifaceted ways technology impacts cognitive,
social, emotional, and motor skills. The investigation delves into how strategically implemented ICT can:
Cultivate problem-solving, critical thinking, and information processing skills, contributing to cognitive
development. Facilitate interactive learning experiences, encourage collaborative learning environments,
and promote communication skills, fostering social development. Create engaging and supportive learning
environments, cater to diverse learning styles, and address emotional needs, contributing to emotional
development. Offer opportunities for refining fine and gross motor skills through interactive and sensor
motor applications, aiding motor development. The abstract emphasizes the potential of ICT to redefine
pedagogical approaches and shape the learning experiences of young minds. It also highlights the importance of harnessing technology responsibly and ethically within the early childhood education framework.
